Personal data
A summary of our personal data policy. Only the French text is legally binding.
In short. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies, has no data collection forms (the only form is the sign-in reserved for board members), and neither sells nor passes on any data. We only process the messages you choose to send us.
Who is responsible
The founding members of the Union des Yézidis de France, an association being set up, represented by its president, Mraz Kalashian. Contact: contact@uniondesyezidisdefrance.fr.
What we process
- To reply to your messages: email address, name, content of the message (legitimate interest: replying to you). Kept for the duration of the exchange, then for at most three years after the last contact.
- To tell you when membership or book sales open, if you ask us to: name and email address, with your consent. Kept until the announced opening or until you ask us to remove them.
- For the security of the site: IP address, date and page visited (server logs; legitimate interest: protecting the site). Kept for the period set by the hosting provider, for security purposes only.
Sensitive information
A person’s religion or origin is sensitive data under Article 9 of the GDPR. The site does not collect it. If you mention it in a message, it is used only to reply to you. Any future collection of family stories or lists of people will be based on explicit, written consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who sees your data
Only the board members who answer messages. Your data is not sold, rented or passed on. Our technical providers access it only to run the service: hosting of the site and mailbox — Hostinger International Ltd. (servers in France, backups in Lithuania, European Union); backups of the site database — Google Drive (Google Ireland Ltd.); these backups do not contain your messages.
Cookies
The site sets no analytics, advertising or social media cookies. Only strictly technical cookies may be set, for example to remember the language you chose. The fonts are hosted on our own server: your browser does not contact any third-party service.
Your rights
You can ask to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, object to its use or receive a copy of it. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@uniondesyezidisdefrance.fr; we reply within one month.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority: Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr.
