Join

Before you join, please take the time to read the membership and payment terms and the information about your personal data. The statutes and the internal rules (in French) will be published here once the association has received the official receipt for its declaration.

The annual membership fee

Rates for 2027 set by the founding general meeting of 23 September 2026. The membership fee covers the calendar year, from 1 January to 31 December; if you pay on or after 1 October, it covers the following year.

Your membership fee

Reduced rate €15 a yearStudents, people under 26 and people receiving a minimum social benefit. Based on your own statement, no proof needed. Member €40 a yearIndividual membership at the standard rate. Household €60 a year+ €15 per adultTwo adults living at the same address, and the minors in the household. Each adult has a vote once they have confirmed their own membership. Benefactor member €150 a yearTo give the association more support. A benefactor member has one vote, like every member: this rate gives no extra vote and no extra rights.

The household fee also covers the children under 18 in the household; they are not recorded and do not become members through this membership.

I have read the information about your personal data. I understand that being a member of the Union des Yézidis de France may suggest that I am Yazidi or of Yazidi origin, and I agree that the association keeps my membership record on these terms. If I pay online, I agree that Stripe, which processes the payment, will know that I am paying the association. If I no longer wish to be on file, I only need to resign: my record is deleted within a month.

This is a translation. Only the French text is legally binding.

Membership opening soon

The membership fee does not entitle you to any tax reduction: the association does not issue tax receipts.

What happens next?

1. You receive a message asking you to confirm your email address and choose your password.
2. The board reviews your application within a month. If it has not replied within two months of your confirming your email address, your membership is accepted.
3. Once your membership is approved, you can vote at general meetings. Your membership number and your receipt are in your members’ area.
4. If the board turns down your application, your membership fee is refunded in full.

Once membership opens, you will also be able to join on paper and pay in cash or by cheque at a drop-in session, against a receipt. Until then, no fee is collected, online or in person. To be told when it opens, write to us at contact@uniondesyezidisdefrance.fr.

Who can join

Anyone who shares the association’s aims, Yazidi or not. Membership is approved by the board. We do not ask you anything about your religion, your origin or which group of the community you belong to.

Minors join on paper at a drop-in session; under sixteen, with a parent’s consent.

Other ways to help

• Give a little of your time: translation, welcoming people, organising festivals.
• Share photos, documents or family memories, when the time comes and with your consent.
• Tell people around you about the association.
